Despite the challenges posed by Covid, their store is well-organized for social distancing, and everyone adheres to mask guidelines. The donuts are simply phenomenal. Among our favorites was the giant glazed chocolate twist, which left us weak in the knees. Whether it was the cinnamon donut or the chocolate glazed, every choice was a winner. We effortlessly polished off a dozen without any regrets.

I decided to make a stop at Peterson’s Donut Corner, a highly recommended donut shop, around 9:00 AM on a Saturday. Despite the long line, the service was efficient with three open windows, and the wait lasted only about 20 minutes. The dozen donuts we purchased were well worth the wait, making this establishment one of the best in San Diego County. The only challenge was finding parking, as the shop shares a lot with a market.
